Australian Robotics Challenge 2017

The 4th Australian Robotics Challenge 2017 is an international event hosted by Griffith University and supported by Griffith Innovate open to junior and highschool students. The robotics challenge covers a range of fields from creative design, autonomous vehicles to solving real world problems with innovative technologies. Each year, local and international students come together for challenging themselves in solving problems and presenting their research in a symposium and published for the proceedings. 


Friday 27th October:

  • Creative Technology Challenge
  • Obstacle Avoidance Challenge
  • Line Tracing Challenge

Saturday 28th October:

  • Student Symposium
  • Creative Design Challenge

Obstacle Avoidance Challenge

Griffith Innovate will be hosting the Obstacle Avoidance Challenge where teams will be tasked with building and programming self-driving vehicles. This challenge involves creating a self-driving vehicle that is capable of reaching a goal in the fastest possible time while avoiding obstacles.
